Police issue lookout notice for KSU leader in assault case

Shillong, Oct 25: The Meghalaya Police on Thursday has issued  a look-out notice against the absconding KSU president of Ri Bhoi district,
Ferdynald Kharkamni for allegedly assaulting policemen in duty at Umiam Police Station.

An FIR already lodged at the Ri Bhoi police station on Monday after two videos of the KSU leader assaulting the cops inside the police station went viral on social media.

According to the reports  on October 15 at around 2 am, the president of KSU Ri-Bhoi led a group of 25 to 30 boys and barged into the Umiam police station to demand the release of a local Khasi boy who was picked up by the police.
