Shillong, May 20: Meghalaya on Thrusday registered its highest single-day spike of 1183 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 6,477, the health department said in a bulletin.
Earlier, on Tuesday last the state witness highest single-day spike of positive cases 906 within 24 hours .
Meanwhile, the state also records 465 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 20,061.
Ten more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 398 .
