Shillong, Nov 29: As many as 36 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of active cases to 768 on Sunday.
Whereas, with 126 persons cured in a day, recoveries outnumber positive , taking total number of recovered patients to 10,861. Total fatality count in the State so far 111 till date.
New 36 COVID-19 positive cases were 28 from East Khasi Hills district(High risk- 04,ILI Case- 02,Armed forces/ Para-military force- 01,Police Personnel- 01,Returnee- 01,Health worker- 02,Golflinks cluster- 01,Laban cluster- 02,Laitumkhrah cluster- 04,Lapalang cluster- 01,Lawsohtun cluster- 01,Madanrting cluster- 02,Mawlai Umjaiur cluster- 01,Mawprem cluster- 01,Nongthymmai cluster- 01 and Pynthor cluster- 03), 04 high risk from West Garo Hills district, 02 high risk from Ri Bhoi district, 01 each high risk from South Garo Hills district and West Jaintia Hills district.
Fresh 126 COVID-19 recovered cases were 60 from East Khasi Hills district(High risk- 33,ILI case- 02,Returnee- 03,Armed forces/ Para-military force- 05,Police Personnel- 01,Health worker- 03,Happy Valley cluster- 01,Jail road cluster- 03,Laban cluster- 01,Lawsohtun cluster- 01,Madanrting cluster- 02,Mawlai Kynton Massar cluster- 01,Nongthymmai cluster- 01 and Umpling cluster- 03), 54 from West Garo Hills district(High risk- 20,Returnee- 01,ILI case- 01,Screening purpose- 01,Cherangre cluster- 13,Dobasipara cluster- 06 and St. Peter school cluster- 12), 06 from East Garo Hills district(High risk- 05 and Police Personnel- 01), 03 high risk from Ri Bhoi district, 02 high risk from South West Garo hills district and 01 returnee from East Jaintia Hills district.
Till date, the State has registered 11,740 COVID-19 cases, of which 768 are active,111 deceased and 10,861 have recovered.
