Shillong Feb 28: The District Council Affairs commissioner and secretary, has announced the allocation of counting centres for various constituencies for counting of votes on Saturday.
The elections to the KHADC and JHADC were held on Wednesday.
The Commissioner and Secretary informed that counting of votes in connection with the conduct of elections to the KHADC for constituencies in East Khasi Hills shall be held in the following location/centres which have been identified and approved for the purpose.
Counting of votes for Sohryngkham, Mawkynrew, Nongkrem, Lyngkyrdem-Laitkroh and Nongshken will be held at Training Halls (adjacent to Dalang Stage). The counting centre for Mawsynram, Mylliem will be at Dalang Open Stage Polo 5th Ground, Shillong.
Indoor Stadium, JN Sports Complex, Shillong will be the counting centre for the constituency of Laban-Mawprem, Nongthymmai, Laitumkhrah-Malki, Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah, Jaiaw, Mawlai, Mawphlang-Diengiei and Nongspung-Sohiong.
