Shillong, Nov 16: Meghalaya will take on Mizoram at home in their first match of the Cooch Behar Trophy, a youth first-class tournament for U-19 men.
The multi-day match will begin at 8:30am on Friday at the Meghalaya Cricket Association Ground in Polo, here. Spectators are welcome and entry is free.
This will be the first BCCI domestic competition to be held in the state capital in the 2023-24 season.
Meghalaya will play a total of five matches this season, all against fellow North East state teams.
Three of these fixtures will be at home – versus Mizoram, Nagaland (from 24 November) and Manipur (from 15 December). The remaining two – against Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh – will be away games.
