Meghalaya logs 74 fresh COVID-19 cases, sudden spikes

‘Covid-19 cases in the state could be upto 25 times the numbers recorded’

Shillong, Jul. 19: The COVID-19 tally in Meghalaya increased to 94,409 on Tuesday, with 74 more people testing positive for the infection, according to a health official.

The new infections have brought the total number of active cases to 272.

The death toll, however, remained unchanged at 1,595, as no new fatalities were reported.

Eighteen more people were cured of the disease, bringing the total to 92,542 recoveries.
