Shillong, Aug 06: Meghalaya on Friday registered 515 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 5,515, the health department said in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the state also records 560 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 61,445.
14 more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1,147 so far.
