Shillong, Aug 12: Meghalaya on Thursday registered 429 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 4,539, the health department said in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the state also records 381 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 64,922.
05 more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1,200 so far.
