Shillong, Aug 15: Meghalaya on Sunday registered 420 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 4,066, the health department said in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the state also records 278 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 66,515.
07 more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1,227 so far.
