Shillong, Aug 18: Meghalaya on Wednesday registered 244 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 3,405, the health department said in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the state also records 418 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 67,999.
12 more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1,252 so far.
