BJP, state youth wing lambasted the state government: Meghalaya

Shillong, May 10: The BJP, state youth wing (BJYM) has lambasted the state government failure to put off the increasing crimes against women and children in Meghalaya.
Condemning the recent murder of a seven year old by his uncle at Bynther , West Khasi Hills district, Egenstar Kurkalang President BJYM Meghalaya said , “Women and children are no longer safe in the state but ironically the government has not taken up any measure to tackle this menace and put a screeching halt to all violence against the female populace in the state.”
Kurkalang has further urged upon all social organization, religious groups and village dorbar to work together and condemn such crimes committed against the women and children and demanded the state government to take strong action against the people involved in such heinous crimes.
