Shillong, Jul 31: The BJP national general secretary Arun Singh on Saturday held a meeting with the Ri-Bhoi district office bearers at Nongpoh.
Singh is in Meghalaya for a two day visit to boost the morale of BJP workers in the state.
In his speech he emphasised on the seven years achievement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and also how the centre has helped the people during the first and second wave of Covid-19.
He urge the party workers to reach the people in the grass root level and convince them about the achievement of the Modi government.
Singh also enquired about the mandal committees and booth committees in the district and told the members to work hard so that party can form its own Government in 2023.
Others who spoke the occasion werei Ajay Jamwal, northeast general secretary, state unit president Ernest Mawrie and Sanbor Shullai state Cabinet Minister.
