Shillong, July 11: The construction of an inter-state bus terminus (ISBT) is likely to be completed next year.
The ISBT is being built in the outskirt of the city, at Mawlai Mawïong along the national highway.
Commissioner and Secretary (Transport), I.W. Ingty said that the project is being funded by the North Eastern Council (NEC), at around Rs 48 crore.
So far, Rs 12 crore has been received.
Ingty said that the progress of work was about 50 per cent, adding that another Rs 36 crore is being awaited.
